Sponsors
Sponsors Packet w/ Instructions
Maynia is enjoyed by thousands of neighbors each year. Local sponsors make the day possible and, in return, gain access to the “Mayniacs” from Plaza-Midwood and the surrounding neighborhoods. These people are your prospective clients and customers and by sponsoring Maynia, you become more than a name in the program or on a sign, you become a neighbor.
Vendor Information
Download a Vendors Packet w/ Instructions
Midwood Maynia is one of the largest events in Plaza Midwood, with thousands of residents enjoying a day in Midwood Park. Interested in setting up a table during the event to communicate a cause, sell wares or promote a product? Download a vendors packet and mail it along with your check to the specified address.
Pet Parade
Pets of all kinds will walk proudly in the parade with their human companions. Some take advantage of the “parade” atmosphere and dress for the occasion, while others join in along the way, unable to resist the excitement of being “on parade” for the humans! The Charlotte Fire Department will lead the parade through the neighborhood. Prizes with a twist will be awarded to pets and their humans at the end of the parade. There is no entry fee, but we do prefer to keep it to neighborhood pets.
Gathering starts at Kilgo Methodist Church Saturday at 9:30 am and the parade starts at 10:00 am. The parade will end in Midwood Park at 11:30 am with some very special awards. Please remember to clean up after your pet. While we do love our pets in Plaza Midwood, please be considerate with your pets once the food and music starts and refrain from having them at the amphitheatre, as there will be food, kids and other distractions.
