For the next quarterly meeting I have several security devices, a taser demonstration, and a couple of other things that will be out for you to look at.
I have been testing an outdoor camera, and an outdoor motion detector that sounds an alarm in the house which I will have on display. Both have worked very well, but I have not caught anyone in our backyard.....YET.
We will talk about car breakins in grid 14, 15, and 16, and the text messaging groups I have been working on. They are not up and operational yet, I am having problems with zemble.com, but I hope to have them up soon. I have been practicing with my grid(14). Also the PAIRING program, which pairs internet neighbors with non-internet neighbors, so everyone can stay connected and know what is going on. I will be asking for volunteers(internet neighbors), and if you know anyone we need to pair someone with(non-internet neighbors).
"The Taser Lady" will be at our meeting to demonstrate her taser/stun gun. It is very compact and easy to use. I know its not for everyone but some of you requesting more information and I got her to come.
I hope our new R.A.C officer, Sgt. Sloop(update*Sloop will not be able to attend, but is working hard for us), will be there along with our community officer, Ofc. Weaver. They will let us know any of their concerns or things we need to be on the look out for.
