We have many parents like this in Will's Class. Moving Kid's like this to another High Poverty School three time as far away when one is accessible is more than not meeting their needs, it is a travesty.

"No I live so much closer to Piedmont. And I have never had a driver's license so I take public transportation and it is only a one trip bus ride versus Albermarle road which is a three bus trip. And I am on disability so I am using that as my sounding board to try and get into Piedmont. I have had *** cancer 4 times in ten years, so the last bout of it they placed me on disability. And I have the doctor's who will back me up as to why I need a closer school than Albermarle...... I will try anything at this point.....
How can this happen when kid's from as far away as South Park get the first round choice? Please come together for an acceptable plan for "all of us". Contact school board rep Tom Tate, and all school board members.
