Midwood Moms will hold a food drive at Kilgo United Methodist Church from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday to benefit Loaves & Fishes, Charlotte's emergency food pantry program.
Needed foods include canned fruit, soup, 100 percent fruit juice, peanut butter, pork and beans and other nonperishable items. Glass cannot be accepted.
Volunteers will be on duty to take your donation from cars, or you can drop off at the station set up in front of the church, 2101 Belvedere Ave. in central Charlotte.
