Yes, the home was located at 1541 Belvedere, my home.
Well, the assaults have escalated. In the past 3 years, it began with hanging ferns being taken off the front porch, to the porch furniture being taken 2 nights in a row, to a car break in and now they have burglarized the inside of my home. I thought having 2 large dogs would deter theft but I learned the hard way. I got home last night at 10:15 to find my home ransacked. The flat screen, gone, lap top, gone, pictures smashed, bedroom dresser drawers pulled out, etc… Just a complete mess.
If it was not for a fantastic neighbor, and I am sorry I did not get his name, this would have been a complete catastrophe. The neighbor was able to provide a description of the car, the suspects were apprehended from his description and my items were recovered! They have not been returned as they are now evidence in a prosecution case!! Whooo Whooo! I am all for capital punishment! Especially how traumatized my poor dogs are now, luckily they were not harmed!! I would also like to commend our local police! They responded so quickly, took care in the home search and crime scene and caught the guys! I could not be more pleased with our local law enforcement. I would like to give a special shout out to KB Daugherty with the CMPD. Thank you so much for taking care of me and my dogs in our stressful time of need. We appreciate your kindness!
