I have several piles of brick that came from the demolition of two patio/stairs and a chimney. I have one person coming tomorrow who I believe is only taking a few. Once they get what they need, I'll be letting the rest go as well. I was going to post on Craigslist but I didn't want a flood of strangers coming to the house or people driving long distance and it not being exactly what they wanted or expected. The house is over off Commonwealth Ave near Plaza. If you're interested, let me know and we can setup a time to meet.
BTW, most of the bricks are the solid/no-hole bricks. Of course, being from a demo, they aren't all in perfect condition. Also, many would need to have the concrete chipped off. Seems to come off pretty easily with a few taps.
Oh yeah, there's also plenty of "rubble" which could be used for fill, anchoring a sloped hill, etc. I'd rather see it reused then ending up in our dumpsters if someone has an application for it.
