Last summer a van was stolen (and later recovered) on our street which is Thurmond Place. Then yesterday afternoon I found out that another neighbor on our dead end street, had their car stolen.
By the way an ACORN representive has been going door to door, her name is Jennifer. This organization might be a good vechile for addressing some of the ongoing theft issues in our neighborhood.

: Just an FYI. We live on Chatham Ave and had our Honda Accord stolen approx one month ago. Since then we've had two more attempts on our street. Tried to steal a new van and failed. Then went for another older van and failed. Last night 05/07/06 they went through our car including our glove box IN OUR DRIVEWAY.
: Please be aware as far as car thefts in our neighborhood, we believe it's on the rise. The Harpers
