I must share your frustrations with the police coverage in our neighborhood as well. We had someone through something through our window after egging our newly painted house (on Belvedere) around 3:00 a.m., and the cops just brushed it off...had to call them for our car being broken into AND another miscellaneous issue, and they have not been very responsive. I hope the Midwood file is lengthy enough to get some real action one of these days........
