My car tires were slashed Saturday, July 1st and Saturday July 8th on Chambwood. Another car in the house had 2 tires slased as well on the 8th. All of this happened around 3:30am.
The worst part was they tried to get in the house. There were beer cans in a box full of gas they tried to get in the house...who knows what they would have done if they got it inside. This was the first time I was glad our dogs barked at someone! Gas fumes at 3:30 will definitely wake you up...
I was very disappointed in the response of the police...get a motion light and call us if you see someone who is suspicious looking...I'm not usually up at 3:30 or I would. They didn't want the cans for fingerprints or to print the door they opened. I think this is a very serious attempted crime.
