Critter control can be helpful. Also call the city again and let them know the problem is still going on. They need to bait the sewers again. They did it near us and it really helped. Apparently there is a big rat problem in Plaza Midwood.

: : Hi,

: : We've lived on Mecklenburg since '97 and every Spring we have 1 or 2 mice in the house which we catch in a day or two and thats it for the year.

: : This Spring we were invaded by rats!. We have tried everything (many different types of poison, snap traps, sticky paper, squirrel traps...) We called the Health department and they sent out a rodent specialist. He set-up a trap under the house and stops by once a week to check. Nothing is working. They avoid the traps and poison.

: : They chewed through the water line that runs from the sink to the frig. Water leaked under the ceramic tile causing cracks in the tile and damage to the grout. They also chewed through sheet rock around light fixtures. And they smell.

: : We have no idea what to do or who we should call for help. Any suggestions?

: : Thanks,

: : Rebecca
