Commonwealth Vet Clinic gets very good reviews and is probably the most convenient for plaza midwood. We don't go there but know several neighbors who do. (We will likely be switching to them since our current vet is a long drive.)
Also Animal Medical Hospital on Monroe is good. They have the added adavantage of having a 24 hour pet emergency room. We've been there twice for late night problems. Both times the service was very good.
