There has been a yellow canary feeding in my back yard for about a week. I doubt it's wild and don't know if it was let go on purpose, or escaped somehow.
I am the resident manager at The Vanlandingham Estate and hundreds of birds flock into my back yard because I have plenty of food out for all types of birds and they use my pond and fountain as a birdbath.
I have been surprised to see this canary return but doubt if it can live in the wild for an extensive period of time.
Does anyone have any suggestions OR KNOW WHERE THIS BEAUTIFUL BIRD CAME FROM?
