One idea...Non-profit adoption organizations would go to University PetsMart on weekends...They also have lots of pictures of dogs for adoption on their bulletin board...Good Luck!
: I have a close friend who would like to adopt a dog. She wants one that is medium sized, short-haired and good with kids. She doesn't want to go through the puppy stage, but is fine with a mutt. Let me know if you are aware of a dog that would fit these criteria.
