i recieved a e-mail from a robert about the houses that are being condemed on pecan ave, i live in the house ok, you said that you want to make your neighborhood safer for your family, thats good, but you live in charlotte,and i have been solicited for prositution on my porch, from some of the guys that live in this neighberhood, and as for the drugs, the biggest person selling drugs in this neighberhood hides behind a buisness, and i have seen some of our neighbors there myself, me and my fiancee do not do drugs or sell them and for guns at this house yes we do own one, but have never shot it at all, but there was gunshoots last night, and u cant even say it came from this house, and as for as mrs lewis, she is a great lady and a good landloard, yes she did cut corners sometimes, but you dont live here do you? maybe you should have gotten to know her, instead of judging her, you just might have made a friend, but chances are you bought your houses after she bought these houses, so you all made your neighborhood around her houses, she bought these houses in 1961, you new the houses was here befor you moved here, for me i think its a shame to see a piece of history torn down, so i hope that in your head you think your nieghborhood is safer without these 2 house, then so be it, and i hope you are right for the sake of your family, but i know better maybe you should watch your own nieghborhood and get your head out of the clouds, then maybe you will learn that family and nieghbors are not going to be safer because 2 houses are not going to be there, and as far as going to social services, that sounds great, but heres a thought, bobby has been there, and was diagnosed disabled, and would have to wait 2 years to get disability started, and the social security number has to be inactive,but when your a poor person, you have to work, as much as possible to make ends meet,we only hope the day never comes for anyone else around here, to be in our shoes and have to be jobless to get the states help,while most of you are enjoying your christmas off work, we will be hard at work serving most of you, and for the fact that youve never met us, youll be there in front of us, with a differnt attitude,cause youll not know who we are,and all we can do is smile to earn our own money, we are not hatefull people, and dont hate anyone around us, only do we hate your opinion,its easier for folks to say that we can do this, or do that, but in reality we cant aford as much as most, we dont make the income of a small percent of the nighborhood, and we are in a real pickle here,weve only lived here for three years, but its felt like a lifetime to us, and its been home,but thanx for making us feel like this was home, and for trying to be our neighbors....
